Important Points from the Election Guidelines
- Reconstitution of key committees/ working group: The 2026 elections aim to reconstitute the leadership across three critical bodies: the Governance Committee (GovCom) and the NRO Number Council (NRO NC/ASO AC).
- Guiding Principles: All processes are governed by the principles of Transparency, Fairness, Neutrality, Integrity, and Consistency.
- Available Positions & Transitional Terms: To ensure long-term stability and staggered rotations, the following seats are open for 2026:
- Governance Committee: Three (3) seats with staggered terms of 3, 2, and 1 year(s) respectively.
- NRO Number Council (ASO AC): Two (2) seats with staggered terms expiring in 2029 and 2028.
